Where I'm standing is called the 5th Station. There are a total of 9 Stations, I think. We, my husband and friends went there just to see what it would be like..and it was awesome! I was thankful that it was too cloudy and foggy to see the view to the bottom of the mountain. I have a fear of heights. We were about mid way up this huge mountain..we weren't interested in going any further! To get to the 5th Station we drove..yes, you can drive a little way...the rest is a good climb not too hard tho. It was hard to breathe..the air was so thin.
The next photo, was taken of one the lakes that exist at the base of Mt. Fuji.
Very scenic I must say.
It may have been in April, as you can see snow on the top and we saw a little bit of snow and rain.
