Swim Fishy Swim

I have 7 fish (convicts) in a rather small aquarium. The fish are still baby size, less than an inch long. Anyway the problem is too much algae build-up. I wanted to get an algae eater however, anything too large will fill the tank up too much..so I need to either clean the tank myself or just get a larger tank..which I'm considering at this point. To learn more about the keeping of convicts, I've searched the internet..and what I've found is that a 30 gallon tank may be too small. Oh dear. I wasn't counting on spending a possible fortune!

I don't have the heart to flush some fishies...
