1 lb ground beef
6 medium potatoes, sliced
1 Tablespoon chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 Cup grated American cheese (your choice)
Brown meat,onions and season to taste.
In a buttered 1 Qt. casserole dish alternate with a layer of potatoes then meat.
Over this pour soup. (do not add water or milk to soup)
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (or until potatoes are done)
Top with grated cheese. Serves 6.
* This used to be my favorite dish to make when we were first married.
